Patient Advocate MinistryNavigating the U.S. health system can be a daunting task, but the Patient Advocate Ministry (PAM) is here to help. Many patients would like spiritual issues to be part of their overall health care. PAM offers a faith-based nurse navigator to guide patients through a variety of issues to ensure meeting the patient's wishes and desires. The church is responsive to the physical needs of our congregation. Signers for the deaf, hearing devices, and large print materials are available for worship services. Medical Equipment Loaner ProgramBUMC Older Adult Ministry, in partnership with the Nashville Scottish Rite, provides wheelchairs, hospital beds, walkers, commode chairs, and many other ambulatory products on a loan basis as needed for those whose insurance or Medicare/Medicaid does not cover these items. All equipment is professionally maintained at Williams Surgical Co. and is delivered at no charge, or small items may be picked-up at 1501 Church Street in Nashville.
