Members of the United Methodist Women meet monthly in small groups called circles for learning, fellowship, service activities, Bible study and book studies. Circle members develop close relationships with each other, praying for and nurturing each other.
Women may also be general members. These women, though not in a particular circle, support UMW by making a pledge and helping with overall activities.
Throughout the year, the UMW hosts numerous fundraising activities to support missions that support women and children in the local area. We also financially support UMW's work in national and global missions by our pledges and fundraising efforts.
Our primary fundraiser is the Holiday Shoppe and Bake Sale held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Each Circle participates by providing handmade items and baked goods to sell to our congregation.
For more information about UMW, please contact the president, Susan Leathers, 221-8605, stleathers@comcast.net
