Cultivating Patience in Hardship: A Look at the Book of Job

Thursdays beginning February 18, 7 – 8:15 p.m.

Why should we study the Book of Job? The New Testament calls attention to the “patience of Job” (James 5:11), a phrase we sometimes hear today in regard to infinite patience, especially during hardship. This 4 week class, led by Jason Alteri, will examine the entire Book of Job and help us to navigate through concepts including: the problem of suffering, why a loving God would allow suffering, and feelings of injustice at undeserved suffering. This study will meet over Zoom.
