Ephesians 5:1-9

FIELD NOTES

I always read this passage as saying “once you were in the darkness and now you are in the light.” But that isn’t what it says. It says we were once darkness, and now we are light. We are light. We are light. Think about that.  

Are you shining? Are you leading people? Are you providing a loving glow to those around you? Can you bring groceries to that elderly neighbor who doesn’t need to get out? Can you call and check on your parents? Will you look for small ways to love during this pandemic?
You are light. You. 

Go and be light.
