DAILY READING

Romans 3:1-8

FIELD NOTES

When my dad was in the hospital, waiting on a liver transplant, things got pretty dark.  I have to admit there were nights when hope seemed far off– not to mention God.  I remember sitting at my friend’s house late one night, on the verge of a breakdown.

“Do you trust God?” he asked.

“I think so?” I replied.

“You’ve got to try.” He said.

Remembering God’s faithfulness is one of the hardest things to do when things go south.  But we’ve got to try.

QUESTIONS FROM THE FIELD

What does God’s faithfulness look like in your life?

PRAYER GUIDE

God, help us to remember who you are, and what you’ve done in our lives.  Amen.
