FIELD NOTES

When was the last time you saw a picture of Herschel Walker, former NFL star?  He is 58 years old and in better shape than most…everybody.  I remember reading an article about him one day and the interviewer asked him why, at his age, does he continually push his body so hard.  He talked about how in his mind, if he isn’t constantly questioning his abilities, and pushing his limits, he feels dead.  He wants to be the best version of himself still.  I wonder if all of us reflect on our lives like that?
