All-In

Matthew 15:1-9

Psalm 119:1-8

FIELD NOTES

We can do everything right.  We can go through the motions perfectly.  We can obey every rule or ethic code, or whatever it may be.  Yet if our heart isn’t in it, if we aren’t sincere in our convictions, then what we do is shallow at best and empty at worst.

Jesus doesn’t just want a part of us.  He wants it all.  He wants our joys.  He wants our acts of service.  He wants our relationships and our finances.  He also wants our fears.  He wants our pain.  He wants those things we hide deep inside that no one knows about.

Jesus wants us to be all-in.  He wants us to give him everything we’ve got.

So what are you holding back?

QUESTIONS FROM THE FIELD

  • What am I holding on to that I haven’t given over to God?

FAMILY FIELD TALK

  • What can we do to love Jesus better?

PRAYER GUIDE

Lord, we give it all to you.  We refuse to hold on to things so tightly you are unable to take control.  Make it so in us.  Heal our brokenness.  May we always be all-in with you.  In your name we pray, Jesus.  Amen.
