FIELD NOTES

What has God done for you?  What is God doing for you currently?  When I was in High School, I remember my youth group was on a mission trip and on that trip, during one of the evening worship services, one of our students was to give a testimony.  I was terrified of public speaking.  And to be honest, I didn’t even know what a testimony was.  So it was my prayer that I was not the one asked to speak.

But of course this wouldn’t be the story if that was it.  My youth pastor called me aside and asked if I would share a testimony of something God was doing in my life.  “What am I supposed to say, and how long am I supposed to say it?”  “Just tell a story about something God has done for you.  Hasn’t God done anything for you.”

Yeah, I suppose.  I suppose God has done something for me.  And I suppose God has done something for you?  What is it?

  • What is something God has done for you recently?
