He Has Time

2 Peter 3:8-15a

FIELD NOTES

God’s timing is not the same as ours. Common Hymnal, a worship movement, says in their song, He Has Time, this:

“He’s not in a rush, he has time for your healing…”

The song is about abuse. It’s about pain. It’s about anxiety. 

God’s timing is often not aligned with our own. And it’s hard. 

But Advent speaks to that anxiety if we let it. We seek God as we anticipate the coming of the King.
