As Christ prepared Himself for the gift of His life to be given as a sacrifice to cleanse from sin the heart of man for all time, may we prepare to receive the gift during this Lenten season.  May we confess our sins, praying fervently to God for our reconciliation and redemption as His children.  May we humble ourselves before Him laying low the distractions of this world, our perceptions and our convictions, that we be stilled and quieted to hear the angels sing the song of our salvation playing in the depths of our souls.   May we prepare ourselves to be living sacrifices for our brothers and sisters with all the grace, mercy and love of the risen One that the world be born again!
