We believe that authentic growth in the Christian faith happens in a community where we gather to study and learn what it means to live as disciples of Christ. Classes and studies vary in length from 4 to 34 weeks, depending on the specific study. Looking for a Sunday School class? We have a number of classes ranging in age, marital status, and discussion topics.

Weekly Studies

  • Men's Bible Study

    Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30 a.m.

    You’re invited to join our Men's Bible Study every Wednesday morning for a refreshing and empowering start to your day! Dive deep into the upcoming week's scripture lesson and prepare your heart for worship. Connect with fellow believers, share insights, and grow together in faith.

  • Women's Bible Study - The Gospel of John

    Begins Wednesday, September 4, 9:30-11 a.m.

    Join other women from BUMC and the community for a journey through the pages of the Bible. We will explore Melissa Spoelstra's Gospel of John. This 7-week study is led by Lou Anne Jacobs.

  • Disciple 1: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study

    Begins Wednesday, September 4, 6-8 p.m.

    Unlock the wisdom of the Bible in a supportive, engaging community! Join our life-changing Disciple 1: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study course at BUMC. This 34-week journey will transform your understanding of both the Old and New Testaments, facilitated by Paul Moser.

    Whether you're a seasoned reader or new to the Bible, this course is designed for all ages and presented in an accessible, beginner-friendly format. Don't miss this opportunity to grow spiritually and connect with others on a similar journey.

  • MomCo Brentwood

    Hey Moms! Looking for that village everyone says it takes? You found us! MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) is for expectant moms, new moms, or any mom with a kid age 4 and under.

    Join us twice a month at Brentwood UMC for encouragement, distraction-free fellowship, relevant discussions, mentorship, snacks, and coffee. Motherhood is hard, but it doesn't have to be lonely. Two Tuesdays a month from 9:30-11 a.m., you can enjoy the company of other women in this unique season of life (childcare included upon request!). There will also be opportunities for weekend playdates and fellowship dinners in the future.

Read the Bible in one year! Join us on this journey through Scripture in 2024. We're following the One Year Chronological Bible by Tyndale House Publishers. You can follow the reading plan on the Bible App by YouVersion, by picking up a printed reading plan in the connect walls, or purchasing the One Year Chronological Bible from Tyndale House.

Amplify Media

Amplify Media is a website filled with thousands of hours of Christian content for children, youth, and adults. You can find videos that can be watched individually, as a family, with a small group, or with your Sunday School Class. This is a free resource provided to all connected with Brentwood United Methodist Church.
