DAILY READING
Exodus 13:1-10
This week’s sermon text: Romans 6:1-14, 15-23

FIELD NOTES
We’ve all been through hard times, some harder than others. Our question today is: how do we remember those moments when God brought us through hard times?

The story of the Exodus is not a small story. Many of our hardships will seem small compared to the plight of the Israelites. And yet, should we disregard the work of God as small? Of course not!

We must remember the things God has done for us. We must observe anniversaries such as sobriety or being healed. We must mark the occasions in which God brought us from darkness to light. God is worthy of praise for all things big and small. No matter what you’ve been delivered from, the fact is that you’ve been delivered. Remember that, and thank God.

QUESTIONS FOR THE FIELD

  • What has God delivered you from?
  • How do you remember the good God has done in your life?

FAMILY FIELD TALK

  • How do you worship God?

PRAYER GUIDE
Lord, we humbly apologize and repent for any times we have missed your Glory and your Kingdom due to our own lack of remembrance of the things you’ve done in our lives. May we always celebrate the good works you do in and through us, and especially for us. Amen.
