Romans 2:12-16

Paul writes, “it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but the
Jesus showed us how to live according to God’s will. But just because we “church people” know what we’re supposed to do does not mean we always do it. But because of God’s grace, we always get to try again. It’s like we’re the Priest or Levite, continually passing by the beaten man on the side of the road. If God’s law is written upon our hearts (verse 15), we will know the right action to take. May we always be on the lookout for such times as they occur.

- If you read Scripture daily, consider how this practice makes room for God’s word to be written upon your heart, so that you may begin to live according to God’s will instinctively.

PRAYER
God, you’ve written your will upon our hearts. After all, you created us in your image. Help us to regain that sense of your divine being within us, so that we may see all people the way you see them. Amen.
