Celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ at Brentwood United Methodist Church!

Join us on Easter as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his victory over death! We have 8 services at 6 different times for you to worship the grace and redemption given to us by Jesus Christ. We also have a number of Lenten programs to prepare your heart for Easter.

  • 6 p.m. Saturday Traditional Worship

    Location: Sanctuary | Music: IRIS + Sonshine Ensemble | Shuttle: No | Childcare: Yes (0-3)

    Our traditional worship led by our young adult and youth ensembles brings together cherished liturgy and hymns to create an experience of timeless worship accentuated by the power and beauty of piano, pipe organ, and choir.

  • 6 a.m. Prayer Vigil

    Location: Chapel | Music: None | Shuttle: No | Childcare: No

    The Prayer Vigil is a 30-minute, intimate gathering in the Chapel that reflects the somber darkness before the Savior has risen. The end of the vigil leads into the Sunrise Service in the Prayer Garden.

  • 6:30 a.m. Sunrise Service

    The Sunrise Service reflects the restoration of hope we have upon learning of Jesus' resurrection. Join us for an intimate worship gathering as the sun rises on a new day and new hope.

  • 8 a.m. Traditional Worship

    Location: Sanctuary | Music: Youth Choir | Shuttle: Yes | Childcare: Yes (0-3)

    Our traditional worship led by our youth choirs brings together cherished liturgy and hymns to create an experience of timeless worship accentuated by the power and beauty of piano, pipe organ, and choir.

  • 9:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship (2 locations)

    Location: Sanctuary + Chapel | Music: Worship Band | Shuttle: Yes | Childcare: Yes (0-3)

    Our middle service is a contemporary worship experience with a vibrancy all its own. Come as you are for an encounter with the Risen King! Our worship band brings together ageless traditions and contemporary music in an eclectic blend of old and new. This is typically one of our largest service times and has live, unique worship experiences at both locations.

We are glad you are going to join us on Easter!

We are located at 309 Franklin Road in Brentwood, Tennessee, across from Chick-fil-A in the Brentwood Place Shopping Center. Take exit 74 on I-65 toward Old Hickory Blvd (West) and drive south for 1.5 miles.

  • Where do I park if the lots are full?

    We have a shuttle available in the City Park lot (Franklin Road and Williamsburg Road, north of Chick-fil-A and just south of Blaze Pizza). The shuttle bus runs continuously on Easter Sunday from 7:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. between the shuttle parking lot and the Narthex covered entrance.

    There is additional parking available on Easter at the Brentwood Medical Center, Regions Bank, and U.S. Bank. We thank you for respecting these parking arrangements by not blocking the ATM drives.

Easter Celebration Gathering

7:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Family Life Center

Celebrate the Risen King with us on Easter Sunday! Grab a donut and some coffee in the Family Life Center before or after worship, and be sure to say hi to the BUMC Kids staff while you're there! They'll have a place for you to take family photos and some activities for the kids.

Stations of the Cross for Families

April 10, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Family Life Center
The Stations of the Cross is a walking prayer devotional focused on the last hours of Christ's life. The 12 stations allow us to better understand Jesus' journey to the cross and prepare our hearts for Easter Sunday.
It will take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete all twelve stations. The last rotation will begin 45 minutes before closing time each day.
The Stations of the Cross for Families allows us to better understand Jesus' journey to the cross and prepares our hearts for Easter. This family-oriented experience explains the suffering and death of Jesus in a way that's appropriate and understandable for children of all ages.
It will take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete all twelve stations. The last rotation will begin at 5:30 p.m.
