Find out more about Trinity
What do we believe at Trinity Church?
What are Trinity services like?
We have one service on Sunday at 10 a.m. Our service is contemporary musical worship and lasts approximately 60 minutes.
What happens when I arrive?
As you approach Trinity, you will see our friendly greeters pointing the way inside. Once inside more greeters will be available to answer questions and find you a seat in the sanctuary.
At the welcome table, you will find a Connection Card. Please complete as much information as you feel comfortable sharing and put the card in the offering basket located outside of the sanctuary and at the altar table.
Can I keep my children with me in the worship service?
Children are always welcome to be with you in any service at Trinity. However, if you prefer you may check your children in the Trinity Kids area before the service begins.
What will my children do during the service?
Trinity Kids will be the BEST hour of your kid’s week! We invite all children from birth to 5th grade to join us in a fun, interactive environment. Our team of trained volunteers creates a fun, safe, and loving environment. Your child will want to come back every week.
Children from 4 years old to 5th grade will be located in theater 8 across from the sanctuary. When you register your child, you will receive a receipt sticker that you will use to pick up your child after the service.
Children in the nursery (birth to 3 years old) will be in the "party room" in the hallway to the left of the lobby.
Students 6th grade through 12th are welcome to come to Trinity Youth Group during the 9:00am small group hour for our youth programming. Many youth group members then attend the 10am service together.
Do you recognize visitors individually?
We always want our visitors to feel welcome, however, we don’t want anyone to feel singled out. Therefore, we would love for you to fill out our connection cards at the welcome table as you walk in. If you have any questions, simply ask a volunteer wearing a yellow "welcome team" shirt and we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.
If I fill out a visitor’s card, will I be contacted?
We would love to get to know you at Trinity and welcome you into our church family! Please indicate on your registration card that you would like to be contacted, and our church leadership will get in touch with you. We want everyone who comes to Trinity to feel comfortable and welcome, so we encourage each of our visitors and regular attendees to explore our church at his or her own pace.
What do I wear?
Whatever you want! We welcome jeans, t-shirts, ties, suits…you get the idea. Come as you are.
Where do I go for the service?
We meet at the AMC Theater in theater 12. As you come into the lobby, please go toward the right and look for the 7-12 hallway and look for the sanctuary sign.
How do I join Trinity?
If you are interested in joining Trinity, please speak to our pastor, Judy Stevenson, before or after a service. Or, she would love for you to email her at email@example.com. There are three ways to join our church: transfer of membership from another church to Trinity, profession of faith, or you can remain a member at your church and become an affiliate member of Trinity Church.
May I participate in Holy Communion even if I am not United Methodist or a member of Trinity Church?
We serve Communion at least once every month. Everyone is welcome to participate in communion at Trinity. Those who participate in communion do not have to be members of Trinity Church (or another United Methodist Church), nor do they have to be baptized. That does not mean that the invitation to Holy Communion is casual. While the table is open to all regardless of age, church affiliation, and mental or physical ability, acceptance of the invitation demands honest self-examination. We believe all people are broken and within the communion experience we can find wholeness and forgiveness in Christ.
