Psalm 51

From Psalm 51:
Create in me a pure heart, O God,
    and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me from your presence
    or take your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation
    and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Is there a more perfect prayer(besides the Lord’s prayer) in scripture?  No pithy devotion today—just a challenge to pray through this small section of Psalm 51 throughout your day.  Try to notice what the Spirit brings to your mind as you pray.
