Help Us See What You See

DAILY READING

2 Corinthians 10:1-11

FIELD NOTES

When I was in college, I was what some might call, judgmental.  I was a leader in a campus ministry, and proudly boasted of it wherever I went.  I would also look down on those who didn’t fit my view of what it was to be a Christian.  And I was nasty about it.  It took a crisis of faith to change my outlook.  How I wish I had simply taken Paul’s words here to heart.

QUESTIONS FOR THE FIELD

  • Why is it so easy to judge others rather than take an honest look at ourselves?

FAMILY FIELD TALK

  • Have you ever been judged by someone else?  How did it feel?

PRAYER GUIDE

Lord, you know our hearts.  May we see what you see when we look at others around us.  Amen.
