FIELD NOTES
There is more going on than we ever realize. When we are anxious or scared, like some of us may be right now, we often only see what’s on the surface of things. This can cause us great stress. We watch the news and hear crazy numbers and we feel overwhelmed. We go to the grocery store and find the shelves empty.
But we have to look deeper. We are not in this alone. We are a community. When we fail to see things as a community, our fear and selfishness create discord instead of peace.
Don’t just take in what’s on the surface in the coming weeks. Look deeper for the good. Look for small acts of kindness. DO small acts of kindness. Check on your family and friends. BE LIGHT. Be Christ to those around you.
