FIELD NOTES
Who are we to withhold forgiveness? Is there a limit to the things we can, or should, forgive?
The dictionary defines forgiveness as such:
verb (used with object), for·gave, for·giv·en, for·giv·ing.
- to grant pardon for or remission of (an offense, debt, etc.); absolve.
- to give up all claim on account of; remit (a debt, obligation, etc.).
- to grant pardon to (a person).
- to cease to feel resentment against
: to forgive one’s enemies. - to cancel an indebtedness or liability
of: to forgive the interest owed on a loan.
Are there people you need to forgive? I know I have people I need to forgive.
*Sidenote: Forgiveness does not mean staying in a toxic, dangerous, or abusive situation.
QUESTIONS FROM THE FIELD

Who do I need to seek forgiveness from?
